Publishing with FP and viewing with FTP

My ISP host warned me about using both cuteFTP and FP on my published
site. In fact, they had to reinstall FP extensions on the site after
I had used both FTP and FP to publish various files.

However, I find that FTP is often the easiest way to get a quick view
of the structure of my site, so I'm wondering if there might be any
harm in using cuteFTP to just view the layout of my site providing I
never make any changes with FTP?

Publish to your site using http://yourdomain.com and
the extensions won't be damaged.

After your site is Published, open it using FrontPage
by opening http://yourdomain.com and you will be
able to view the site just like you were viewing the one
on your hard drive.
