Publishing quirks

We have a +- 6000 page site - sometimes it will publish in 3 minutes and other times it can take hours! With the quick publish it seems to download very little (have got FP set to check which files have changed and to publish only changed ones). Its odd because we only update 12 very specific files on a daily basis, yet the publishing can vary like this

Any thoughts

With that size site consider breaking it up into subwebs for better/faster FP site management

- if you have any dynamic content in your site, sometimes FP will perceive that as a change
