Publishing from FP 2000 to FPSE 2002

When a client tries to publish his site using Frontpage
2000 to my webserver with FPSE 2002, it just sits and
spins like it wants to publish but never does.
It is not an option to upgrade him or downgrade me!
Any prognosis or suggestions?!
