publishing error

I get this error when I try to publish changes to my site in FP 2003: "system
exception:access violation"
Any ideas of the cause and how to fix it?

This error only happens when I try to publish pages from a site I built
after upgrading my PC from XPPro to Vista.

I have a site that I built before the upgrade and it publishes fine.??

Try toggleing the setting for "Use Passive FTP" and try publishing again.
This setting is in Internet Options in IE under the advanced tab.

I just checked and that setting is checked now.
Are you suggesting to uncheck it and then re-check the option?
I am not publishing using ftp, I am using frontpage services to publish.
I was told by the company that hosts the site that if I publish using ftp
that it would turn off the FP server exstensions and they would need to be
re-set.
