Publishing Error: does not support ASP

G

Guest

When I publish from FrontPage 2003 to IIS on Windows 2003 Server, I receive
the following message:
"The following pages in your Web site are Active Server Pages (ASP). They
may not work because the server you are publishing to does not support ASP."
After listing the .aspx web pages being published, it finishes with, "To
enable these pages, publish your Web site to a Web server that supports
Active Server Pages."

ASP 1.1 is indeed installed on the server and the pages seem to work just
fine. Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

Thanks,

Jason

Is ASP enabled for the specific web site under IIS?

ASP is up to version 3.0 now.

I added ASP in the Windows 2003 Server Add/Remove Components. I also set up
the website as an ASP application and confirmed the .aspx extensions were
mapping to C:\Windows\Microsoft.net\Framework\v1.1.4322\aspnet_isapi.dll.

If it's relevant, I developed the pages with Web Matrix and designed in
FrontPage.

So I believe ASP is enabled for the web site... unless I am missing a step.

Ok, you are talking about ASP.net. I can't help you with that.
