Publishing Dilemma

I am new to FrontPage, which will probably seem obvious after reading my
post. I just finished creating my webpage with FP and tried to upload it
onto my website and ran into a problem. On each of the pages, the layers I
have created are overlapping graphics and/or text on the page. Also, some of
the layers I have created are not where I had them on my computer/hard drive.
They are either way above or below the place I have put them. I have tried
to change the display resolution to 800 x 600 to see if this was the problem,
but all this did was make everything every big and hard to read. Can anyone
give me some advice? I am at a loss.

Layers use absolute positioning - don't use them. Use tables to do your
layout.

Personally anything smaller than 800x600 for me is to small - that's on a
19" monitor.
800x600 is just comfortable.

Layers, when used properly, are absolutely positioned, and do not
move around - however, the rest of the page does as the browser window
re-sizes
Layers should be placed immediately after the <body> tag, or
immediately before the </body> tag - never place them inside any other
container, such as a table cell, which will nearly always give
unpredictable results.
