Layers

I have created several layers on my web page using mouseover, while viewing
in Internet Explorer the layers are perfect, however when viewing with
FireFox or Netscape the layers display incorrectly. The background color
will show as a postage stamp while the rest of the layer will have an
transparent backgound making the text hard or impossible to read.

The text in the layers are within a table.

It appears that every layer on the page is inside a table cell. You must
never do this. Sorry.

Thank you for the comments. I just finished reading your suggestion and will
need a little time to digest it. But I think I got the Idea of how it should
be.
