Publishing a PowerPoint presentation online

I have a PowerPoint presentation that I want to put online, but have no idea
how to do this. The presentation is complete and saved on m computer. Where
can I put it on the web? How? I'm <I>very</I> new at this and need
step-by-step instructions. I read the help information provided on PowerPoint
and have followed the instructions to click on Save as Web Page under File
and then click publish, but I don’t think its doing anything. I have a web
page on geocities (http://www.geocities.com/kirbys12281/index.html), but I
don’t think I can put a PowerPoint presentation there. If the price is not
too high, I’m willing to pay for a site to put the presentation on, but I
have no idea how to go about doing this. Any help would be much appreciated.

"Publish" in PPT really means "Make some HTML files and stuff that I could
publish if I wanted to. And knew how." It just makes the content but doesn't
really publish anything to the web.

Okay, I think I understand how to do this now, but I still don't know where I

You mentioned that you have a geocities account, didn't you? I imagine you can
publish it there but you'd have to check with their tech support people (or web
pages) to learn how to upload files.
