Published site shows file list not web index

I have successfully published (FP2003) to my host.
When going to the web site, I get a listing of files and have to click on
index.htm to get the site to work.
Where did I mess up? In the publishing or in FP development?
 
Check with your hosting company
and see what the "default" home page needs to be.
It could be any one of the following most common ones:
index.htm
index.html
default.htm
default.html
