I have installed a netgear dg834g router and cannot
publish my files by ftp. I keep getting 425 can't build
data connection, connection timed out.

Please help
 
Check that the firewall in the Netgear (and any other firewalls you are
using) allows non-passive mode FTP - the firewall may be blocking the
connection with the server.
If you use FP2003, or a third party FTP application (CuteFTP etc.) then the
application can be set to use passive mode, also check that the server you
are publishing to supports that.
