I am trying to publish my existing web to a backup site.
Using Front Page 2002 I get the following message:

"You specified identical destination filenames for some of
the files you are trying to copy.Make sure all destination
files have unique names and try again."

This happens no matter what the destination is--a new web,
an existing web, or a file on a PC.

The problem does not occur using Front Page 2000.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks.

If you are on a UNIX server many of them are case sensitive so Index.htm and index.htm are 2 different files
If publishing to a non case sensitive server (or windows PC) you have duplicate names which are not allowed
- check your web for duplicate names

Thanks for the response. Notice, however that FP2000 does
not have the problem and FP2002 does. Since my original
web was created with FP, how could I have created
duplicate file names? Shouldn't FP2002 at least name the
files it thinks are duplicate?

If you are opening your web in both FP 2000 and FP 2002 always find and delete the web cache files associated w/ the web (*.web)
before you open FP and then Try running a tools recalculate Hyperlinks
