Publish options, export issues, and the amazing shatter effect

Hi,

I love the shatter effects in Movie Maker and I am very impressed with the
extensibility of the effects but I am having some trouble publishing my video.

I'm using Vista and MM 6.0. When I publish the video, the effect doesn't
even show up but it looks outstanding in preview mode. I've tried using
DV-AVI (NTSC) and the color is fine but the effects don't show up. My video
is uncompressed as original. If I export with any other format, the video is
only 8 bit color or less (mostly red and yellow) with lots of blotches.

I'm running x64 Vista and I have an NVidia 7950 with the driver release from
this month (100.65).

Can someone at Microsoft please let me know if there are known issues or
anything?

This is insane!!! It takes me 2 minutes to make this movie but now I have to
spend days trying to figure out why this S*** doesn't work?!!

Get it right Microsoft! Stop releasing products that claim to provide all
of these great features but fail when used by consumers.

Can someone at micrsoft please look into my issues below!?!
