publish a word doc on the web for others to see?

For an assignment im looking to publish my work on the internet as a
component of my assignment. How do i do this with office 2003?

You can save a Word document as web page but I think what you are
looking for is how to publish the file to a web site. If you already
have a web site then you need to contact the provider of the web site
for instructions.
