Public Folders on Exchange

Our exchange server currently has 4 gigs of allocated space available to
public folders. A remote branch office is currently using the public folder
system as a file storage area much like a file server. As this is noted as a
non best practice by Microsoft I'm interested in exporting these public
folders with PDF/Excel/Word files along with the e-mails to be saved as such
in a file server environment so that the information is still accessible.
Any assistance and or guidance in this area would be much appreciated. Thank
you

So where do you get stuck?
You can drag and drop items out of Outlook into an Explorer window. Outlook
items will be converted to msg-files.

Yes thank you, I did realize this however, as our wonderfil users in San
Diego have made hundreds of folders I wanted to copy the parent folder with
all its contents as one, thus allowing for less work on the users end to
clean things up. However I suppose they could just use the Shift key to
highlight masses of info and copy that way to a folder on the desktop. Thank
you for your comments.
