Public Folder Calendar Question

We are currently using a public folder with a calendar to handle shipping
information.

The orders are entered into the calendar and checked off as all day events
complete with customer color coded labels for each of our material types. We
use this to inform all necessary users of upcoming orders.

Problem is that recently some of our users have entered appointments in to
the calendar as all day events but they show up as 2 day events on other
users outlooks. It appear to be a random thing in that some months are okay
but others are not. And it is computer dependant.

It also works the other way. I put an order in as an all day appointment
and some users see it correctly and some see it as a 2 day event.

How do we fix this?

Thanks.

I hope you get an answer to this because we are having the exact same problem
except with ours, all the appointments in March were fine, but all
appointments in April are now covering two days and have little clocks on
them. Like you, we were using this calendar for something other than
meetings and we had things set up for all day events. I hope someone can
help!

Jamie, I think I figured this out. Check to make sure that for both the
user's calendar and the resource calendar (your shipping calendar) you have
the same selection for the time zone and the "adjust for day light savings
time" box. You can find these settings in Tools / Options / Calendar Options
/ Time zone. I don't think there is a quick fix for the messed up
appointments, but I think appointments made from the time that everyone is on
the same setting will be okay. I'm halfway hoping that the messed up
appointments will self-correct after day light savings day, but that might be
wishful thinking. Good Luck!
