i have created a public calendar for our users to book resources like
conference rooms. We have exchange 2003 and clients are using Outlook 2003
and 2007. when i view the public calendar i can seen who created the meeting
but my users cannot see who created the meeting. why is this?

What permissions do you have on the calendar versus what your users have?

Where do you see the creator? (in the meeting somewhere, view, etc?)

the default and anonymous both have author. i have added my account as the
owner. i am using Office 2007 and my users are a mixture of 2000, 2003, and
2007. We are using exchange 2003. i can see the creator of the meeting but
even the other office 2007 users are unable to see the creator.

if they use a table view and add the Organizer field to the view, can they
see who created it? That is the only way to see it in older versions.
Outlook 2007 will show the organizer's name in the subject field for meeting
requests.
