My dad has had the subject error message come up on his PC several
times, requesting that he insert the installation CD. Very similar
to another thread with the HP (which he also has had problems with)
issue regarding TrayApp. My question would be how can he get rid of
it? He's 79 yrs young and tries so hard. Me trying to assist him
remotely is a challenge when stuff like this comes up... Any
thoughts as to what might be causing this? db

Googling for "PSTA", "PSTAPlugin", and "PSTA Plugin" doesn't bring up
any links that are useful. In any case, you'll need to find out what he
has set to run at startup that is failing. Depending on your computer
skills, you can control his computer remotely to work with msconfig,
Task Manager, etc. to track this down. If you and your Dad only have
dialup, this will be a slow and cumbersome process. Without knowing
more about your skill-level and your connection, I can't be more
specific. It might be more efficient for your Dad to hire a local
professional to take a look.
