I have a bit of a dilema, a user accidently moved his .pst (which happens to
be 2gig) file into his local Personal Folders. I can't seem to copy or
extract them out, i keep on getting an arror message 'Can't open the item.
Outlook blocked access to this potentially unsafe item'. KB articles 829982
and 274696 state that by modifying access permissions in the registry you
should be able to copy, move or work with blocked files in Outlook, but
obviously this does not work. After doing what the articles suggest i no
longer get the error message, however Outlook just hangs now when i try to
copy the pst out of the personal folder.
Please help
We are running Office 2003 sp2 and winxp sp2

Thanks

Moved; so the user still has the original, right? Just use that one.

And delete the copy that's in Outlook.
