is there some utility out there that will allow me to test a directory
of PST files to determine whether they're valid or not? I'm doing a
GroupWise to PST conversion for a data recovery company and randomly,
one of the PST files I create gets corrupted. I try to open it in
Outlook and it immediately shrinks down to 32K (from 6 Meg) and the
Personal folder is empty, no messages. However, most of the other
ones I do are fine. I'm talking about hundreds of PST files and I
don't want to have to open each one of them 1 by 1. Is there a
utility that will test/verify/validate PST files for me?

Thanks in advance.

Matt

P.S. Please email me as I don't check here often.

SCANPST will allow me to scan 1 file at a time. I have hundreds of
files I'm trying to scan for validation. I found 1 that had gonee
bad and actually scanpst wasn't able to help me with it, just tell me
that it was bad. That's fine, if I could just get an app that would
do what scanpst does, but in bulk. Can I use scanpst to run in batch
mode? Thanks for the response, by the way.

Matt

This tool is a bit more advanced. I can't recall whether it supports
batching;
