PST Over 2G and corrupted

i get a meesage that the PST over sized and i need to del emails to recover.
Per so i have tried to do a number of things (del file - can't do), SCANPST
(i get error msg and the oprtion fails), CHOP 2G size (PST2GB.exe - tried
over250 MB) and afterwards run SCANPST (same error)
Any ideas?

You have to continue to chop & repeat scanpst - usually several times, until
it is functioning

should i try more then 250MB (this means get a 1.5G file) - wouldn't i lose a
lot of data?

Can you still open the original pst-file?
If so, create a new one and move your data to it. If you use Outlook 2007 or
2003 make sure you create a UNICODE pst-file. If a previous version of
Outlook, create 2 pst-files.
