pst file

My pst file is now 1.5 gig. When I delete old emails with
large attachments, the pst file doesn't compact. I'm told
there is a 2 gig limit to this file.

How can I archive/edit this file so that it compacts
afterward?

Go into the properties of the .PST file in Outlook (perhaps by
right-clicking the root folder in View | Folder List) and you should find a
Compact Now button. See if that helps.

By the way...I assume you're emptying your deleted items folder
periodically.
