.pst file contents invisible

ok, I created a .pst file in Outlook 2003 and after a clean install of
everything, all I see in the pst file (with Outlook 2003) is 'Deleted Items'
& 'Search Folders.' I have successfully been able to see all the contents in
opening it through Outlook XP, however Outlook 2003 (in which the file was
created) is now creating problems. I am unable to see the contacts I have
created in the .pst file I have created, any suggestions???

Somehow you've corrupted your PST. Does SCANPST recover anything? How
large is the PST?

I believe I tried running 'Scanpst.exe,' and while it seemed to
find & fix the file, it still did not make the contents reappear in
outlook 2003. What really puzzles me is that the pst file contents are
visible in Outlook XP, but not 2003. Any other ideas?

With the EXACT SAME PST or a copy of it? If the latter, how did you make
the copy?

Dude, there are other forms of storage than one 'permanent hard drive.'
Today's technology allows for portable storage that may be used on multiple
systems with different softwre (i.e. - flash drives).

Awaiting a possible solution,

So, you have a PST on a thumb drive and are moving it between PCs?

As I said, I put the file on a flash drive. I did find the problem, in order
to see contacts within the file one must resort to the folder view, not to be
mistaken by the mail view.

Thank you for trying to help!
God Bless,

Justin
