I copied my mail messages onto a cd using windows 2000 professional. Now that I have them on disk, I would like to put them in my home pc and read them. The only problem is that my new pc uses windows xp home addition. Can anyone help with a step by step guide

Thank you.

Outlook PST files are a part of the MS Office suite and are OS interdependent.

Just copy the PST to the hard disk, change the attribute of the PST from Read-Only to
Read-Write and point your Outlook profile to the PST file.

If you need further information, post in a MS Office News Group.

Best ask in an Outlook group. Also, be sure to uncheck the read-only
attribute before you try accessing the .pst.

Bloody spell checker !

I meant to state: "Outlook PST files are a part of the MS Office suite and are OS
independent."
