finding that I really like PSPad as well. The built in ftp is handy at
times too.

And, FWIW, PSPad is one of the few that performs
a rare, rare trick of reformatting paragraph(s) permanently.

Agreed, PSPad is a bit too much for me, but it's still my editor of choiceIt is a very nice editor, for sure. I prefer my old Crypt Edit for
editing text, but PsPad is great for html or any other coding.

PFE is another one. One of the many reason I like it.
Will have a look at PSPad later.

Otherwise it looks very capable.
On the site, it says the installer is not needed. The only other file
besides the installer version is a CAB file. I select it to save, and
the screen opens showing a page of code, not the usual download
screen. Tried it in several browsers, same result.
A URL for the no-install version?

is normally a zip file.
omega said:Handsome features aside, this guy is not environmentally friendly. Demands a
lot of resources. Inserts filetype keys to the registry whenever you run it;
no option to turn that off. And creates settings files outside way off in a
distant, external location (...\common files\application data\pspad\).
