PS/2 Ports not working

I have just installed XP on my machine in my room and the
PS/2 port in which I have my keyboard plugged into is not
working. Does anyone know why this may be the case. I
have checked the device manager and the keyboard is not
listed in their either.

Sounds like it's disabled in the BIOS. Try going into the BIOS and check..
if it's disabled, enable it.
