proxy setting??

I am using ms antispyware beta and tried to submit a
spyware report and I could not transmit it, it said it
could not detect my proxy settings? anyone else having this
problem? I wanted to report the viewpoint tool bar as
possible spyware.....but could not do so due to the
comunication error, could this have anything to do with me
using firefox as my default browser?

David,

You have to set the Internet Options / Connections / LAN
Settings in Internet Explorer to reflect your proxy
requirements. Apparently, the AntiSpyware Beta looks there
for network connection configuration.
