Proxy Configuration Script

Hi,

Have entered a proxy configuration script address into the appropriate field
in the connections settings of Internet Explorer 6 (Win XP MCE2005) and
Internet explorer completely ignores it, even when it is checked!

I cannot figure out why this is and it is a nuisance as it prevents me from
browsing the internet whilst connected via VPN to my office.

This worked fine with the copy of Win XP Pro I had on my old machine.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Try unchecking the Proxy Auto Configuration, which may be changing your
settings:

Disable Automatic Proxy configuration

Lan Settings- Proxy Server - Disable
