Protecting a Report from being modified

First of all thank you for taking the time to look at this post. Your
knowledge on this subject is greatly appreciated.

I have several reports that I would like to possibly password protect for
structure similar to what Excel can do. I do not want to password protect
the report to prevent it from being accessed. I only want to protect it from
being modified. Is this possible?

Have you considered creating an MDE for distribution to your users?
 
Thank you Duane. The MDE method is exactly what I was looking for. I
