First of all thank you for taking the time to look at this post. Your
knowledge on this subject is greatly appreciated.

I have several reports that I would like to possibly password protect for
structure similar to what Excel can do. I do not want to password protect
the report to prevent it from being accessed. I only want to protect it from
being modified. Is this possible?

Thank you!

Design the report in a .MDB file (or .ACCDB, if you're using A2007); save the
file as a .MDE or .ACCDE file. Keep the original for future maintenance!! If
you give the users the ...E file, they won't be able to make any design
changes to it.

Thanks everyone for the great ideas. With your help the problem is solved.
The MDE method seemed to work the best and is exactly what I needed. Did not
know that even existed! Thanks again!

Thank you John. The MDE method is exactly what I was looking for. I learned
something new today! Brenda
