Protecting a presentation

Is there any way that a presentation can be protected from being saved, or
edited in any way. I know I can make it read only, but that still allows
someone to save it under a different name and make changes. I have Powerpoint
2000. Any suggestions?

password to prevent modification came inwith 2002. There are ways to make it
more difficult to edit in 2000 my favorite being to ember the presentation as
an object in another presentation and give it an action of show.

Set password to your file. Maybe it's unfriendly to do so.
Maybe you can try turning your presentation to Flash file, which can not be
saved or reedited.

You cannot set passwords in 2000
