OS: Windows XP Profesional

Application: MS Office Word

Issue: Promts to save unchanged document.

Description: Some word documents I attempt to close, will
prompt me to save the document even though I have not
made any changes in the document.

Questions: What causes this prompt to appear and what do
I need to do to the document and/or settings to stop this
from happening?

Chances are good that one or more fields updated when you opened or printed
the document. Although their displayed text (result) may not have changed,
Word recognizes this updating as a change to the document.
