Prompt for non-existent Password to access Client

Gradually making progress in network setup, and now Host
reacts to Client name (progress) but pops up a window with

<Client name>/Guest (this Field greyed out)
Password (active)

but I haven't set up any passwords yet on the just-built
very new Client computer.
Any ideas please? I tried making a new User account, and
rebooting, but that doesn't show as a choice, nor
does "User" (the administrator account), just the greyed
out Guest.

Run the Network Setup Wizard on the client to fully enable file
sharing.

Thanks for the help Steve. Although I tried that already,
and it didn't work (I think I still had the modem
connected to the Client computer, sharing the same line as
the Host, which maybe confused the wizard) I've done it
again and I now seem to have pretty good communication. My
15 yr old son hasn't tried 2-player games yet across the
link. My next step is to learn about file sharing.

But there is a problem in that Norton SystemWorks 2003 on
the Client won't Live Update - the Host dial-up connection
activates, but LiveUpdate seems to freeze. The Client
managed to instal the latest Windows Critical update with
no problems, so I assume it's a Norton issue? Maybe Zone
Alarm Pro?
