Promotion of 2000 BDC's to a 2003 environment

Hi!
Need some guidance on this scenario:

Presently I have 4 windows 2000 servers: 1 PDC, 1 Exchange 5.5 and 2 BDC.
I am upgrading the PDC and exchange 5.5 server to Windows 2003 server and
Exchange 2003 respectively, infact they will be new servers installed.

I want to make the 2 BDC's work with the windows 2003 server and exchange
server.
So how should I go about dis-joining the BDC's from 2000 server and joining
as BDC's to the new 2003 server and exchange.
Ofcourse I need to implement the 2003 as mixed mode for this to happen.
I searched the web - but they say this can happen thru specific tools which
needed to be purchased.
Can someone guide me on this.
Thank you in advance.
Regards
Harry

So you have a 2000 native domain and you are going to introduce a new
Windows 2003/Exchange 2003 server into the domain? Is this new 2003 box
going to be a DC or is it going to be a member server? The only reason
you need to worry about functional level (Mixed/Native/2003) is for
when your DC's are of different versions, not member servers or
workstations. Also, in 2000/2003 there is no such thing as PDC/BDC only
a PDC Emulator FSMO role.
