Projector problem

I know it's not strictly a Powerpoint problem, but I dont know where the
right group is, and it may be something someone else has experienced.

I am using a 3M multimedia projector model number MP8749. It has been
working fine until yesterday when I turned it on and there was a green cast
over the image. I checked it on a different computer to make sure that the
problem was with the projector and not the computer. It is as though someone
put a green filter over the lens. Any idea what the problem could be? Could
it be a failing lamp?
Thanks,

You might see if there's a "reset" button -- that should reset the
brightness, contrast, and color controls.

Otherwise, look for a color option on the menu, and try to move the Green
lower -- sounds as if somebody's cranked it way up.

Also see http://www.3m.com/us/office/meetings/tech/index.jhtml There's also
a "contact us" page for 3M -- you might just want to ask them. Could be the
CGA is going bad or something.

When I have seen these problems it is a connection problem with the cable or
a bad connection in a switch which a cable is connected to.
