I was bored the other day so I was checking out the stuff that came with my
computer and there where a few stuff that I don't know what they are first
are ICQ and MAV, and I was wondering if anybody can tell me what they are
also there was Window's Mail, I know what is is, but I was just wondering if
its a free program or if you have to pay for it? I was also wondering if ICQ
and MAV are programs and if they are, are they free? I have Window's Vista
Home Basic I don't know if that would be any help. Thanks in advance.

ICQ is an instant message product, probably the first to be widely used.
I use it all the time. It's free. http://icq.com/

Don't know what MAV is.... NAV might be Norton Anti Virus..

Windows Mail is the replacement for Outlook Express email client, and it's
free.

ICQ is a free chat client, one that's been around for quite a while! :)

Windows Mail is the replacement for Outlook Express, and it is free as well.

As for MAV... I'm not sure. A quick Google search found nothing either...

If it is NAV (Norton Anti Virus), there have been multiple reports of it causing
very serious problems with WM (Windows Mail) that require a complete
uninstallation of NAV.

Thanks for all that help and don't worry about MAV ill figure it out sooner
or later but thanks for all the help everybody.

Since ICQ was added by the manufacturer and doesn't usually come
preinstalled on a new computer, I'm guessing maybe this 'MAV' is also
something included by the builder, so, you might ask them about it.
