Programs will not open

Have a computer with windows xp home os. When you try to
open programs a window opens up that says "Windows xp is
registered to ....." Then when you clic ok or close it
the program fails to open. Can not open any program or
open anything without this happening. What is the
problem? Help! Thank you, Jeff

ive got a similar prob. the programs will only open if
you select with the right button and go to run as... then
change a box that says 'protect my computer from
unauthorized activity' when i uncheck the box it works
otherwise it wont start at all
can any one help me?
