Programs vs. System Cache setting help!

M

Matt

I am running Windows XP Home on a 2.8Ghz Prescott P4 with
an ECS 865PE-A Motherboard. When I change the
performance settings to adjust for best performance
of "system cache" instead of "programs", I restart my
computer and instead of starting right up and going to my
desktop, it shows me the login screen. I enter my
password, and it "grays out" the login box and just hangs
there. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Matt
