programs that open on startup

I have a DELL comp with Windows xp home. How do I change
what programs open when I start up Windows.Thanks in
advance!
 
If after going into msconfig, you're unsure about what
some of the items listed are, here's a website that will
help you out so you can decide what you need and what you
don't need to run at startup. http://www.pacs-
