Programs Taskbar Missing

I'm using XP Home Edition.

Recently I install some Windows Update items.
After that I found that when I execute programs, their respective buttons cannot be found on the task bar.

But Windows Task Manager indicate they are running.

Please help.

Thank you. Exactly what I was looking for. Also some other very useful
scripts located at that site. It does state on the page (but I didnt notice
it until AFTER I had run the script so I am mentioning it here) that your
system protection (norton etc) class these scripts as a HIGH risk. I figured
it was worth taking and within 10 seconds my problemwas fixed with no side
effects whatsoever. If you get a warning from these 'fixes' then from my
experience let them run. Probably the quickest problem fix Ive had to date
from these forums.
