Check the options in Outlook first to see if there is an option to have Outlook start when Windows starts and de-select that option.

If no joy, do the following.

Check the Start/All Programs/Start Up menu for a shortcut to Outlook. If found there, right click and delete the shortcut from that menu.

If it is not there, go to Start/Run and type msconfig and press OK. In the configuration editor, click the Start Up Tab and look for an entry there for Outlook. If found, remove the check mark from that line.
