Programs open by themselves??

Please can anyone help, I have a 3 month old laptop running windows xp home
and Norton Internet Security 2006 and Ad-aware too which are all up to date.

A couple of weeks ago whilst online, broadband, the control panel opened
itself as a sort of shadow in the background. I tried all kinds of things
like tech support from Toshiba, broadband provider and Norton and eventually
Toshiba advised me to do a complete reinstall from disc which whiped the
disc. That was 2 weeks ago and yesterday another ghost image appeared which
I didn't recognise, its not the same size as the open window and you can't
close it down. I did ctrl+alt+del and it showed a prog running called
padtouch_wndllabel which I managed to close. Did all the antivurus etc.
scans and all seemed ok. Does anyone have any ideas about this please??

From a Google search, padtouch is a Toshiba program. It has
also been attributed as spyware. Follow-up on the Google
thread and resolve, e.g.,

Thanks Ghostrider... is this a safe download to use?? I did try but I can't
seem to find a free download...any ideas? The link that they had on their
page didn't seem to work. Manderz
