PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access, etc. do not come with Windows 2000 Pro.
Those are all parts of the Microsoft Office Suite which is not installed by
default on any version of windows. You can buy a system with the programs
already installed (i.e. you can order a system from Dell with Word, Excel,
etc. already installed, but they're not part of the OS (Win. 2000, Win98,
WinXP, etc.)

well if you did a clean install then you would loose any existing programs
(which is best when going from 98 to 2k, you can do something called an
upgrade which will maintain all your existing software/programs,etc (there
are a few exceptions. i may have an older copy of the suite that i would sell
and you can register (2k/ maybey 03k suite, nothing newer, if its a work pc
they may get it for you
