Programs Not Fully Installed

I'm having trouble on reboot when I can't seem to get to the task bar.

I usually get it up again by reinstalling the NVidia driver.

I also can't seem to get my LPT1 port working properly.

I wonder if there is a program that has not fully installed?

Is there something I can do to detect them?
