programs in my start menu

Al my programs in my start menu dissapeared!!!!
I can still use them if I go to C:\program files but it is very annoying to
do that every time. And having lots of programs, dont feel like instaling
them all over again.
please help!!!!!!

Programs listed under the START menu are shortcuts in most cases.

Right-click the START button, click PROPERTIES, then CUSTOMIZE and see
if the settings are correct - especially the setting for the number of
items to be shown.
 
I have the same problem....suddenly all the installed program icons in the
start menu were gone.
