Start Menu/All Programs Sorting?

C

Charliec

On my laptop, the Start Menu/All Programs items are listed with the
Single Program items first and the Folders after them. Normally on
the Start Menu/All Programs, the Folders are listed first and the
individual programs after them. How do I get this order back?

I tried going to Start/properties/start menu/customize and click and
unclicked the "Sort All Programs...." feature and the order remains
the same.

Thanks for any insights to this problem.

That was in XP. This is Vista.

They were arranged that way in Vista before I had to reinstall Vista
yesterday - so there IS a way in Vista to have it that way. If I may
say, if you don't have a suggestion, why reply?

Actually, if you took the broomstick outta yer ass you mght have
considered the possibility that I thought I was right and that I
was giving you helpful info.

I've not seen such a sorting on my system. And this is a
two-week old new install.

Mine are arranged with folders below programs on both a Vista Ultimate and a
Vista Business. Maybe you misremember.
