Programs blocked by Windows Firewall

A few of my programs( namely GameTap and iTunes) are unable to connect to the
Internet or their dedicated server. I have tried making exceptions in the
firewall or turning the firewall of completely, but no luck. It is not the
programs or the Internet connection, as they work on another computer running
with Norton firewall. I hope someone can help me out with this. Thanks.
