I am going to buy a program called Pro/Engineer. It's a
3D modeling program used for engineering applications.

Anyhow, my question is about the requirements for this
program. The Manufacturer (PTC) states that the program
requires an NTFS file system. I have FAT32 on my Windows
XP computer instead. Will this be a problem for the
program? What the is the difference...it's the same data,
just stored differently!

What do you guys think?

The only reason I can think of that they would insist on NTFS is if
they anticipate creating huge files. FAT32 can't handle files larger
than 4GB, the limit under NTFS is stratospheric.

But this is really a question for the creator of the program, we can't
read their minds.
