I am running Windows XP Home edition. About a month ago -
a "program" appeared on my computer with an shortcut
icon on the desktop. It's called "Talking Buddy" - it's
one of these "cutesy" little personal assistant type
program and seems pretty innoculous. It must have
installed from some download when I accidently
clicked "yes" on something inadvertantly. At any rate, I
have tried to "remove" it from my program list using
the "Add/Remove" feature from the control panel. It will
not allow me to remove it. When I click on the
Change/Remove button, I get a little pop-up window
called "Wise Uninstall" and a message that says, "could
not open INSTALL.log file". Why? And how do I remove
this program. I have disabled it in the start-up under
msconfig, but I want it off my system! Help! Thanks.
