Program Permissions

Endulini

Hi,

I've installed some software that is only available if you log on as an
administrator and I'd really like to use this from within my own profile.
How do I change the program permission to make it available for me?

Thanks

Hi,

It sounds like this is an older program that is not running virtualized. To
run it from a normal user account, you will need to right click the icon and
use 'run as administrator' and enter the admin password. This happens
because the program is trying to write to protected system folders during
operation.
