Program on WIndows 2000 has odd error

Warren Mitlak

We have recently migrated a program that was running on a
Windows 98 system to run on a Windows 2000 server.

The program is loaded off of a Netware server and is
running overnight.

In the Windows 2000 environment we have found that when
we leave it running overnight the application crashes and
or even disappears from the system with no error messages
in the morning.

We believe that the problem is network related because
when we leave the program running overnight when loading
it from the C: drive we don't have a problem.

Does anyone have any ideas about what could be happening
and how to fix it?

Thanks

what exact nwclient version do you have running off the 2ksvr?
have you made sure you patched it to the latest & greatest? Have you made
sure the nwclient & server are both setup correctly
(http://www.ithowto.com/novell/clientspeed.htm &
www.novell.com/documentation, make sure it is configured properly, slp
especially)
what exact version of netware is running?
Do you have the latest nic drivers loaded on both machines? speed/duplex
correct to the switch?
What is this application you are running?
